HI & WELCOME,
I'm Rob, I recently retired. Now I am fortunate to run my own eCommerce business in an industry that I'm truly passionate about, Personal Development.
I'm an Aussie, my wife Jan is a New Zealander and we live in Queensland. Our eCommerce business allows us to work from home, online, to build the strong foundations and ongoing strengths we want for us. Our business allows us to build a position that leads to a purposeful life, a lifestyle with travel and time freedom , it's much better than we would get from retirement handouts .
We worked hard for others, plus we did our own investing. We loved to travel, to most continents in the World. Now we can do more, and are so looking forward to later this year a Business Event in Europe, it was South Africa last year. Meanwhile we are building our position to do it better, bigger and more often! .
We seek to work with motivated men and women who want to create this level of freedom and flexibility in their own lives. The essence being purposeful living. My Bucket List trip.Yes!, I did a trek in the Himalayas to Mt Everest Base Camp. We feel blessed to be able to afford these experiences.
Fun times in Paris at The Louvre , we did this trip to Celebrate Jan's Birthday and our Wedding Anniversary Hopefully , we will go again.
THE THINGS THAT LED ME HERE:
I started my online eCommerce business journey after a career of working for others & for my self . A few years back, I passed my "retirement age", I was not eligible for a Govt. Pension and frankly, I did not want one from them!, I wanted to decide my future economic security. I was still in a salaried job, and a fit active Volunteer Fire Fighter. With combined incomes from salaries, investments and my wife's professional career income we were still earning a strong 6 figure income when we both decided " enough " of this working for others, so I have left my salaried role, making a life changing decision that I will never work for a boss again, yes, I could still Volunteer!, however our focus will be on building and being in our desired lifestyle.
THE PAST I WOKE UP TO: After Secondary School, I Studied Law and worked with several Law firms, & starting as an Articled Clerk at $18 a week after tax, I soon became aware this gig of working for others was never going to make me a wealthy free and happy person. I went from 10 years in Legal Practices to Corporate, still working for others who pulled the strings. I was a commodity, & business pays the lowest amount it can for "commodities". Applying my skills, experience and knowledge for others was good for them, not so good for me. I then went into Real Estate, that had promise, I thought! what an eye opener, virtually every dollar earnt went into wages, & overheads. There was rarely enough left to build modest nest eggs and limited financial and time freedom to really enjoy life.
OUR BUSINESS: The business that I am in today with my wife at my side, is the online business model I see winning us our desired life. Representing award winning Personal Development products. Tapping into a global economy and connecting with clients from Down-under to Europe and everything in between. I'm privileged to work with incredible entrepreneurs who are supportive, talented and simply the best in their field.
